Osnabrück Lord Mayor visits SUNOS.

"Photovoltaic systems as a future technology have splendid prospects in Osnabrück. We can observe that a large number of companies in our town have promising concepts at their disposal in order to boost the business location with new, environmental-friendly technology. SUNOS Solarpower GmbH also certainly belongs in this category, deemed Osnabrück's Lord Mayor Boris Pistorius during his visit to the photovoltaic supplier on 19th November 2009.

SUNOS Managing Director and owner Frank Hemme explained the rapid growth of the company to the Lord Mayor, which now in the meantime oversees many projects far beyond the regional borders. "Everyone needs electricity and almost everywhere this can be produced cost-effectively and simply. We see ourselves as a company with firm roots in the Osnabrück headquarters that will gladly expand in order to bring the idea of profitability and climate protection as far as possible in the world", stated Hemme. Along with a number of branches in North Germany SUNOS has set up branches in other countries as for example in France.
Lord Mayor Pistorius also expressed his willingness, in this connection, to add his support with the spread of photovoltaic systems with its special know-how from Osnabrück in the French partner town of Angers.
